Business Hours:
7am to 9pm. Telephone messages left after 9pm will be returned the following day.
Meet & Greet:
A free Meet & Greet (M&G) visit is required for all new pet sitting clients prior to
reservations being accepted. This will allow us to assess the compatibility between
your pet(s) and sitter, plus give us time to complete all necessary forms and contracts.
A 50% deposit is due at the M&G to reserve the pet sitting dates with the balance due
on the first visit. I request seven (7) to ten (10) days prior to dated needed to schedule
a Meet & Greet. Last minute reservations can only be accepted if there is time for the
M&G visit and I have an opening.
Holidays:
Due to the high demand for pet sitting during the Holidays, the deposit for reservations
made is NON-REFUNDABLE.
New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve,
Christmas Day, 4th of July,
Email reservations:
Email reservations are accepted from existing clients. List any changes from previous
arrangements such as diets, health issues, new pets, etc. Voice mail messages DO
NOT constitute making a reservation, unless a I return a phone call or email, no
reservation has been made.
Payment;
Payment in full is always due on or before the first visit.
Cats:
For the safety and security of both your home and your cat(s), I require that cats be
visited a minimum of once per day. No every-other-day visits will be accepted.
Dogs:
IMPORTANT: Because dogs are social animals that depend on human interaction for
their happiness, I require that dogs be visited a minimum of twice a day.
Security & Liability Issues:
Due to liability reasons, I do not accept "shared" pet sitting jobs with anyone, including
friends, relatives, neighbors, or other pet sitters.
For liability, safety, and security reasons, clients must disclose to me in advance the
names of all individuals who may be on the premises such as housekeepers,
maintenance services (pool, lawn, plumbing, etc.). It is also recommended that client
notify these individuals that HPC will be caring for your pets.
If any undisclosed individual is found to be on the property, the police will be notified
immediately.
House keys will be obtained during the M&G and can either be returned at the end of a
pet sitting job or kept in a secure file with me in anticipation of future visits.
For security reasons, keys will not be locked inside the home, placed in a "secret"
location outside, or mailed.
If keys are returned, a fee will be charged for each pick-up and return for future jobs.
Keys kept on file with me are kept in a secure location with nothing more than coding
attached to them. Personally identifiable information is not attached to your keys.

Cancellations:
Notify me as far in advance as possible of any cancellations or changes in your service.
Refunds & Cancellations Schedule:
Holidays - Payment in full is charged, no refunds
0-48 Hrs - Payment in full is charged, no refunds
2-7 days - 20% of Service total is due (80% refund)
8+ days - No Charge, refund in full
Every attempt will be made to accommodate requests for changes in service but there
are no guarantees.
Pet Safety Issues:
HPC Pro. Pet Sitting Service is NOT responsible for the loss, injury, illness, or death of
any pets that have free access to the outdoors.
For the safety of your pet(s), it is recommended that they be confined in the house or a
fenced yard for the duration of the pet sitting job.
All pets should have a collar around their neck with a visible identification tag attached.
It is the responsibility of the pet owner to inspect gates, fences, latches, etc. to insure
they are in proper working order and there are no outlets for pets to escape.
"I'm Home!"
For the safety and well-being of pet(s), all clients are asked to call me upon their arrival
home, should you be delayed in your return, your pets will be able to stay on their
routine and not miss a meal or potty break.
"I'm Home" calls are accepted at any hour of the day. Leave a message after normal
business hours.
Additional visits will be made if I do not hear from the client by their scheduled return
time which will result in additional charges being added to the bill.
