While we do have many busy times during the year (holidays, prime vacation times, etc.) that allow for
a full schedule, working as a professional pet sitter isn't the type of job that can guarantee a minimum

| A Little About HPC Pet Sitters LLC |
We started up in the 2005 but took our time taking on a first client (almost a year or longer). We wanted to start out
slow and learn as much as we could about the industry. We read books on the subject, checked out websites,
joined several predominate Pet Sitting organizations (Professional United Pet Sitters, Pet Sitters International, aPaw),
joined discussion forums and picked the brains of some of the top Pet Sitters in the industry from not only across the
country but from around the world. Most of whom have been in business for over 10 years or better and are rated
top in their area. Once the foundation was laid so we customized their plans to fit our customers we serve.
We set the bar high, we didn't want to be considered a "hobby sitter". We wanted to get our name and reputation
out as a Professional Pet Sitter. Then in November of 2006 we registered with the State of Florida and became
Hooves, Paws & Claws Professional Pet Sitters, LLC, and we built the reputation for not only being a Professional
Pet Sitter but a company that has a serving heart and caring nature when it comes to the needs of our clients!
We are a faith based company and believe that we are successful because we have placed God as our foundation.
As part of His teachings we believe that the only way we can grow is by having high standards, morals and operate

| Qualifications |
All Positions require the following:
care experience, such as volunteer work at a shelter, rescue, worked at a doggy daycare, kennel
or veterinarians office, or as a dog walker or pet sitter.
Must be comfortable with a variety of species and breeds (reptiles, rodents, birds as well as dogs
and cats). We do understand not everyone has experience with Horses and Farm animals so that will
not disqualify an applicant.
Live within Manatee County or if you live in Sarasota, near the Sarasota/Manatee County lines.
This is an "on the road" position. You will be responsible for your own fuel cost.
Must be in good physical condition to handle and control dogs/animals of all sizes while in your care
whether in clients home, out on walks and around other animals. You must be able to handle multiple
pet households.
You must be able to work in all types of weather such as heat, cold and rain. We do not work in
dangerous weather situations such as thunderstorms or worse.
Must be flexible! Must be available for weekends, holidays and nights. Must be willing to do overnight
with assigned clients.
Must be willing to assist in promoting and marketing HPC Pet Sitters in your service area.
Must be able to think on your feet when unexpected events occur during a visit, such as an
emergency.
Must take Pet First Aid Certification and be willing to take advantage of continuing education in pet
health, behavior and training issues to enable us to better serve our clients needs.
Because we want to provide excellent service to our clients, you must have excellent presentation,
communications skills, time management skills, organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
Above all you must be trustworthy and dependable.
Must be able to follow specific & detailed instructions!
Must be at least 21 years of age or if you are between 18 and 20, you must demonstrate a mature
mindset. For liability reasons we can not accept applications for anyone under the age of 18.
Must have the following equipment; Cell Phone, Camera (unless your cell phone has a camera),
Working Home Computer and access to the Internet with an email account.
Must have reliable transportation with full insurance coverage. Have a current drivers licence and
clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a detailed background check and provide a minimum of 6 local references.
Must be passionate about what we do, have a caring heart and serving attitude.

pet accidents, cleaning stalls (if experienced with horses), administering medications (pills, liquids,
injections, etc) and other household task. As well as provide clients with detailed information ref the
care of their pets and home.
Attend initial consultations with clients, discussing pet instructions, service dates, etc.
Pet Sitters - assignment times are generally as follows:
Morning visits between 7 AM - 10 AM
Mid-day visits between 11am - 2pm
Afternoon visits between 3pm - 6pm
Evening visits between 7pm - 9pm
Many of our dog households request a total of 3 visits per day, with occasional 4 to 5 visits per day.
Cat-only households may require only one visit per day. Assignments can also range from just a few
days to several weeks.
Dog Walkers - availability M-F between the hours of 10 AM and 4 PM. Some holidays may apply.
Overnight - Be available to stay at a clients home from approximately 7pm to 7am.
Pet Taxi - M-F 7am to 6pm (dependent on number of assignments per day).
