A caring nature has always been part of who we are;
I worked nearly 20 years in public safety as a Sheriff &
911 Dispatcher, was a volunteer Fire Fighter, I am
currently a Girl Scout leader and Adult Trainer as well
as an Instructor for American Red Cross in CPR/First
Aid. I am working on becoming an Instructor
for Pet First Aid as well. Both my girls are Girl Scouts
and love to help with the wonderful fur babies.
Growing up we have always had animals of one kind
or another. From Peacocks, chickens, ducks and
Parakeets, dogs, cats and not to mention the stray
cats wouldn't miss a meal. I was always bringing
something home; from turtles I would find, to birds that
had fallen out of their nest. We still do that today!
Any time someone would mention they could no longer
keep their pets, it wasn't too long after we made room
for them at our place (and in our hearts). From cows
and horses, to cats and birds, to geckos and an emu!

Our experiences ranges from ownership of most, if not all of the animals mentioned to volunteering for rescue or other
animal organizations.
We have experience with:
Dogs, Cats, Fish, Birds, all pocket pets including; Gerbils, Hamsters, Rats, Mice, Guinea pigs.
To farm animals; horses, cows, rabbits, goats, hogs/pigs, chickens & ducks. Even a few exotics such as snakes,
geckos, Iguanas and an emu. We have even helped care for lion & tiger cubs as well as volunteered with the beautiful
Lipizzan Stallions!
